Football Referee’s Coaching Classes

Football Referees’ Coaching Classes for New Recruits and Refresher Classes for Active Members will be conducted by the Indian Football Referees’ Association (IFRA) Kuwait from 31st July 2009 at the Indian Public School, Salmiya from 9.30 a.m onwards.

All new candidates desiring to qualify as Football Referees are requested to contact Mr. Sarto Baptista on Tel: 25611621 (after 6 p.m.), Mr. Junifer Rodrigues on Tel: 25633261 (after 5 p.m.) and also Mr. C.O. John on 66274017 (Mangaf/Fahaheel/Ahmadi Area) for more information.

ABOUT IFRA:
IFRA was founded in the year 1980 by the late FIFA Referee, Mr. J.P. D’Mello who was also instrumental in the formation of KIFF in 1984. IFRA is an Independent Body and not a subordinate of any Federation nor affiliated to any Club/Federation in Kuwait. It is the only Association in Kuwait which conducts Coaching Classes for Football Referees by experienced Qualified Referees amongst Expatriates and is registered with the Indian Embassy since 1981. Sarto Baptista re-elected IFRA President for 6th Term






Former India International and Ex-Salgaocar player Sarto Baptista along with one of the IFRA founders in 1980, Junifer Rodrigues were re-elected for a sixth consecutive term as Hon. President and Hon. Secretary respectively of the Indian Football Referees’ Association (IFRA) Kuwait, at its 28th Annual General Body Meeting held on 10th July 2009 at the Indian Public School, Salmiya.

The other Office Bearers are:C.O.John Hon. Vice PresidentFrancis Fernandes Hon. TreasurerChristopher Fernandes Hon. AuditorMembers: Diego Rebello, Milagris Crasto, Midas Fernandes, Yusuf Mubarak, Philip Ferrao, and Alvaro Dias.
ABOUT IFRA:
IFRA was founded in the year 1980 by the late Goan FIFA Referee, Mr. J.P. D’Mello who was also instrumental in the formation of KIFF in 1984. IFRA is an Independent Body and not a subordinate of any Federation nor affiliated to any Club/Federation in Kuwait. It is the only Association in Kuwait which conducts Coaching and Refresher Classes for Football Referees by experienced Qualified Referees amongst Expatriates and is registered with the Indian Embassy since 1981. The IFRA strength of qualified referees is 25, out of which 23 attended the recently held 28th annual general body meeting (AGM), two members being out of Kuwait at that time. Former India international and ex-Salgaocar Sarto Baptista along with Junifer Rodrigues were re-elected for the sixth consecutive term as president and secretary respectively of Indian Football Referees’ Association (IFRA), Kuwait, at its 28th annual general body meeting held on July 10 at the Indian Public School, Salmiya, Kuwait.The other office bearers are: C O John (vice-president); Francis Fernandes (treasurer); Christopher Fernandes (auditor); Diego Rebello, Milagris Crasto, Midas Fernandes, Yusuf Mubarak, Philip Ferrao, and Alvaro Dias (members).IFRA was founded in 1980 by late Goan FIFA referee, J P D’Mello who was also instrumental in the formation of KIFF in 1984.
